I turned 31 yesterday. As with every birthday, I spent some time reflecting on what I’m doing and where I’m going. I’m trying really hard to not paywall new editions. But that’s not something I can commit to as I watch paid memberships plateau even as I turned the Friday newsletter into a biweekly and started offering more exclusives for members like our LinkedIn group and editions sharing resources for finding clients.

If you can’t afford a membership, I understand. I started freelancing at a folding table when my $8/hour job wasn’t paying my bills. But if you can, I am asking you to become a member.
