Every month, I give away free subscriptions to Freelance Opportunities! I use funds from the Adopt a Freelancer tier and sponsors to cover the cost.
Freelance Opportunities! is a woman-owned newsletter hand-curated and published by Kaitlyn Arford. It is a twice-weekly published newsletter curating paid opportunities for journalists, writers, developers, photographers, videographers, social media managers, and more.
If you’d like to support the work that powers Freelance Opportunities!, please consider becoming a paid member. Your membership supports everything you see here and all the invisible work you don’t. Funds from the Adopt a Freelancer tier are used to create space for people from traditionally marginalized communities.

Eligibility
My ultimate goal is to increase representation and lower barriers to people from traditionally marginalized backgrounds looking for work.
Please note: I am currently prioritizing free subscriptions for transgender individuals.
While I prioritize these communities, I recognize that marginalization and need can take many forms. I understand that many people's experiences intersect across multiple identities.
How the scholarship works
I review applications monthly. I award scholarships according to how many open spaces the Adopt a Freelancer tier has created. More spaces are available if a brand or individual sponsors scholarships.
A scholarship represents a one-year paid gift subscription ($84 value) that includes:
Wednesday editions featuring freelance opportunities
Exclusive editions
Digital products, including a database of places to find freelance work
Unlocking the archive of all past editions
Discounts on courses
Plus anything new I create
After your scholarship year: You’ll receive an email 30 days before your membership expires. You then have the option of applying for renewal or converting to a paid membership at $5 a month.
