I've procured paid and even semi-regular gigs all for no cost. I love the fact you can donate money intermittently by buying a coffee for all this. I often feel opportunities and networks are limited. FO shows that's not true.

The newsletter is great for several reasons, not least of which is that I can see a cross section of jobs available in different disciplines. This is both professionally helpful as it gives more opportunities, but also promotes a sense of community often lost when freelancing.
